The blend of nitrile and polynorbornene rubber is highly impact resistant and forms a memory sponge that is multi-impact rated and CE certified to the highest level (EN1621-2: 2014 - level 2).
In the case of a severe angular impact, the individual layers of memory foam will slide between them, causing the impact forces to be dispersed over a larger area and thus minimizing the energy that is transmitted to the spine and back.
By applying a multiple level concept, REV'IT! has developed a flexible back protector insert that performs consistently in all conditions.
